Participants gain an insight into traditional Afro-Haitian dance interwoven with contemporary elements.
In Haiti, dances symbolise the connection and cohesion between the elements of nature as well as this world and the hereafter. Afro-Haitian dance is rooted in the mythical worlds of the West and Central African peoples and inspires with its strongly rhythmic forms of movement.

To actively experience and feel both music and rhythm – inspires not only young people but also inquisitive and experienced dancers.
I accompanies the participants in this new world, situated as it is between tradition and modernity. Small playful choreographies emerge from energetic Caribbean sounds and, almost in passing and with an abundance of fun, strengthen the body, sharpen concentration and help recover equilibrium.
